Stay True Collective – Golf Range Therapy at 19th Tee Ltd

Sometimes the best way to end a long, stressful day at work isn’t a couch, Netflix, or scrolling on your phone. It’s grabbing the boys and heading to the golf range. This time it was me (Ricardo), Vg, Shady, Parfait, Moe, Billal, and Billal’s little cousin. No big plan, just an evening of fresh air, friendly competition, and a lot of laughs.

When the boys get together, you already know. It’s going to be fun and competitive. We decided to spice things up with a challenge: who could hit the ball the farthest. Parfait came in swinging — literally — with some high-powered shots that had all of us stepping back like, “Okay, Tiger Woods.”

Now, Vg… my guy is amazing at fishing, but golfing? Let’s just say the ball wasn’t always cooperating. I won’t say how many misses there were (hi Vg, I know you’re reading this), but it was enough to give us a good laugh.

Then there was Billal, who instantly became the storyline of the night. It was his first time golfing and he told me not to film his first swing. So naturally, the second he stepped on the mat, I had my camera ready to capture history.

Another subplot of the night? Shady teaching Moe how to swing. Let’s just say it was… a work in progress. Between the awkward stances and the “wait, try it this way” moments, it was pure entertainment.

By the end, it didn’t matter who won the distance challenge. The real win was being outside, letting the day’s stress fade with every swing, and enjoying the company. Because here’s the thing — the golf range isn’t just about perfect form or hitting 200 yards. It’s therapy. It’s laughter. It’s that moment when you realize you’ve forgotten about everything else except the people you’re with and the ball in front of you.

Here’s to more evenings like this — where the swings aren’t always perfect, but the vibes are.

Stay True. Always.
